For dry skin, it is more suitable to use full cream yogurt, where oily skin should apply non-fat yogurt. A must remember is always use plain unsweetened yogurt for making homemade facial masks.

Honey Yogurt Face Mask

Ingredients: 3-5 tablespoons of Unsweetened Plain Yogurt, 1 tablespoon of Honey

Method:

1. Filter yogurt with a piece of gauze on a filter net. This help to make the yogurt get smoother.

2. Add in honey into the yogurt and stir evenly, then apply onto face and let it dry off for 5-10 minutes. Then wash away with clean water.

 

Avocado Banana Yogurt Face Mask

Ingredients: 1/8 piece of Avocado, 1/2 piece of Banana and 3-5 tablespoons of Unsweetened Plain Yogurt

Method:

1. Peel of the skin of Avocado and Banana.

2. Mix Avocado, Banana and yogurt into a blender, then blend evenly with quick spin.

3. Then apply the mixture onto face evenly, let it dry under airy condition for about 5-10 minutes, then wash away with clean water. After that apply some firming and moisturizing cream.

 

Tips & Notes:

1. Don't apply the yogurt mask on your face too long, the best duration is between 5-10 minutes, because by applying mask, the skin surface temperature will arise and thus accelerate the oil emission.

2. Keep the remaining yogurt in refrigerator after use to prolong the lifespan.

3. Only apply 1-2 times per week to have best effect.
